Savixx Trading Publishes 2025 Sustainability and ESG Practices Report

Savixx Trading has just published its 2025 Sustainability and ESG Practices Report, a document that brings together the company’s key indicators and initiatives across governance, environment, people, and innovation over the past year. Covering the period from January to December 2025, the report is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and inspired by the ABNT PR 2030 standards and the criteria of the SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board) for the professional and commercial services sector.

The report arrives at a time when ESG practices have stopped being a differentiator and started being demanded as a compliance criterion by companies seeking commercial partners abroad. Among the highlights disclosed by Savixx are the EcoVadis certification, the Great Place to Work certification, the renewal of the Eureciclo seal — which certifies plastic waste offsetting — and an A rating in the Federal Revenue Service’s Receita Sintonia Program, which assesses companies’ tax and customs compliance.

What the report covers

The document details, among other points:

In governance: the company’s board and executive structure, the Code of Ethical Conduct provided to all employees, an external whistleblowing channel audited by Aliant, and the practice of proactively sending non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) even before any formal request from the client.

On the environmental front: the annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory based on the GHG Protocol — which recorded 89.4 thousand tons of CO2 equivalent in 2025 —, the reduction in electricity costs from R$52,900 in 2019 to R$14,800 in 2025, and initiatives such as replacing disposable plastics with ceramic and aluminum items in offices.

On the social front, the company reports 118 full-time employees, 37% women on staff, health and wellness programs, and social investment projects such as ongoing support for Creche Alegria, a daycare center in Guarapari, in the state of Espirito Santo.

In innovation, the report highlights the upgrade of its ERP system, the centralization of its technology environment on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, and the company’s first steps in adopting artificial intelligence to optimize processes.

Why an ESG report matters when choosing a trading company

For companies that depend on a trading company to import or export, an ESG report works as ready-made due diligence. Instead of informally assessing a business partner’s reputation and practices, the client gains access to verifiable data on governance, legal compliance, risk management, and environmental responsibility — factors increasingly demanded by end clients and international regulators alike.

This transparency reduces auditing costs for the contracting company: businesses that need to demonstrate the compliance of their own supply chain value partners who already have this documentation organized, which speeds up approval processes and strengthens trust in the business relationship. In foreign trade, where operations span multiple jurisdictions, suppliers, carriers, and regulatory bodies, this predictability has a direct impact on business risk.

Certifications cited in the report, such as EcoVadis and Great Place to Work, also serve as external validation — it isn’t the trading company evaluating itself, but an independent third party certifying sustainability practices and workplace standards according to international benchmarks. This is especially relevant for companies trading with markets such as the European Union, where increasingly strict sustainability rules govern access to certain supply chains.

By publishing the report annually, Savixx treats ESG accountability as part of its relationship with clients, employees, partners, and suppliers — not as a one-off initiative, but as an ongoing improvement process that is documented and comparable year over year.

The complete 2025 Sustainability and ESG Practices Report is available on Savixx’s official website, in Portuguese and in English, extending access to the document to the trading company’s international clients and partners as well.
