In addition to having all these documents available, it is important that they are all up to date, as any mistake can delay the customs process.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block3\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<div id=\"viewer-do6oa\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block4\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-8pdni\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service is responsible for controlling everything that enters and leaves the country. Customs clearance takes around, at least, 8 days to clear orders coming from outside the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block5\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<div id=\"viewer-4a7ug\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block6\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-con6u\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">When there are problems with documents or payment of taxes, it is common for the cargo to be stopped at customs until the due rectifications and payment of the fine are made. In purchases above U$ 500 (about R$ 2,470), the tax is charged at 60%. Above that, the percentage plus ICMS for each state is charged &#8211; in addition to other fees that can be added.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block7\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-fu540\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">What is customs clearance?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block8\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-4fpi9\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">Customs clearance is known as the release of goods through customs so that they can enter the country. Customs clearance registers the conclusion of the customs conference and it is through it that the delivery of the goods to the interested party is authorized, being the last act of the clearance procedure.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block9\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<div id=\"viewer-3kd4d\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block10\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-74pc4\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">\u201cParagraph 571 of the Brazilian Customs Regulation establishes that customs clearance on import is the act by which the conclusion of the customs conference is registered\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block11\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<div id=\"viewer-1k8fg\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hook=\"rcv-block12\"><\/div>\n<div data-breakout=\"normal\">\n<p id=\"viewer-6g0vq\" class=\"_8AuA4 Kk4Lt HbsNx xcP3i\" dir=\"auto\"><span class=\"jAwRD\">In the import dispatch, the data declared by the exporter are verified.
